The conference will be held on the University of Sheffield campus, which is both close to the city centre and well-connected through several public transport links. Please find below our recommended travel routes into the city:

For those wishing to travel from outside the United Kingdom, we recommend flying into Manchester Airport. It is the best-serviced airport in the local region, and there is a direct train from Manchester Airport to Sheffield running regularly throughout the day.

The university campus is closest to Sheffield Railway Station, which has regular connections to Manchester; The North-East via York and Leeds; and further South via Nottingham, Norwich and London St-Pancras.

Upon arrival, there is a regular tram service (the ‘Blue service’) that runs directly every 10-12 minutes from Sheffield Station to the centre of the University Campus via both the West Street and University Campus stations.

The university campus is located alongside the A61, which is best connected by the M1 (junctions 33 or 34) from the North and South. It is also locatable via the M62 to the North (if driving from Manchester) and the M18 if travelling from the North-East.

Paid Parking is available onsite, but is often limited the closer to campus you venture. There is also an NCP and a Q-Park multi-storey parking facilities located a 10-15 minute walk from the central campus.
